Four main zirconium dioxide-based materials are utilized for the manufacturing of advanced technical ceramics: yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ), magnesia partially stabilized zirconia (MgPSZ), zirconia-toughened alumina (ZTA) and alumina-toughened zirconia (ATZ).

3 mol% yttria-stabilized zirconia for high mechanical performance
ZirPro CY3Z and GY3Z grades of high-purity, yttria-stabilized zirconia enable the manufacturing of ceramic parts with excellent bending strength and toughness. The powders can be supplied without binders (CY3Z) for use in injection molding and conventional casting methods or with binders for pressing (GY3Z ready-to-press granules). Yttria-stabilized zirconia ceramics can be used in various applications such as industrial tooling, bearings, grinding media, knives and thread guides.
UprYZe: one-of-a-kind zirconium dioxide powder composite
Featuring a tailored microstructure and composition, UprYZe is an especially unique innovation in the ZirPro zirconium oxide line. UprYZe is the composite material of choice for applications in which high toughness, extreme resistance to wear and/or humid environments are a must: medical, oil and gas ceramics, cutting tools, pumps and valves. UprYZe is supplied without binders (UprYZe) for use in injection molding and conventional casting methods or with binders for pressing (UprYZe-G ready-to-press granules).
