The appropriate blasting medium
The high-performance products Zirblast®, Zirshot® and Microblast® are characterised by the unvaryingly high quality of their shape, size and surface smoothness. Their exceptional elasticity combined with very high shape retention increases their impact energy. The highest possible mechanical resilience ensures minimal consumption. Our ceramic blasting media can be used in shot blasting machines, compressed air systems, injector systems and wheel blasting systems.

Zirshot® ceramic spheres are specifically developed to meet the highest demands of shot peening, surface finishing and peen forming. They are employed in the production and maintenance of heavily stressed components made of steel and aluminium alloys.
The very fine microstructure and the ceramic material properties make Zirshot® ceramic spheres extremely tough and resistant to breaking. Compared to glass or steel spheres, they are characterised by significantly lower consumption of blasting medium and energy.
